Nutrition Classes

Everyone knows that there is an obesity epidemic occurring in the United States, and Hispanics/ Latinos and their children have been particularly affected by the growing prevalence of overweight and obesity. The Ohio Hispanic Coalition is offering free nutrition workshops in Spanish, which are funded by The Columbus Foundation, to educate
the Hispanic/Latino community on the importance of healthy eating and being physically active. The workshops include three (3) classes, with each class lasting about two hours. Each class is divided into two sections, nutrition education, and physical activity.
